Why Your new habits don’t stick & how to fix it

We've all been there, wanting to start something new, not knowing where to start or dropping off after a week or two of "consistency". Why does this happen to so many of us? Is building habits really that difficult? Lets dive deeper...

Most don’t fail because they’re lazy.

They fail because they try to overhaul their life in one day and call it a plan.

If that’s you, I’ve been there — we’ve all done it.

So what’s the fix?

It’s not a new planner. It’s NOT needing more MOTIVATION or willpower.

It’s all about stacking habits.

What are stacking habits all about?

It’s attaching a simple new habit to something you already do daily.
Your brain doesn’t need another to-do list — it needs rhythm and routine.

Here are some examples I’ve used with clients:

  • After you make coffee → drink a glass of water
  • After brushing your teeth, → 10 air squats or push-ups
  • After checking email, → stand up and walk for 2 mins or do 20 jumping jacks.

It’s simple. Fast. convenient. And repeatable.

It removes the mindset of “I’ll start Monday.” And let’s you stack today.

I break it all down in this week’s podcast:
