Try setting yourself a limit on weekends, or simply only buy a certain amount of alcohol. Small boundary, big difference over time.
Stop winging your meals.
Last-minute decisions and eating out purely out of convenience are progress killers. Start thinking ahead. A little planning goes a long way.
If you’re going out Friday or Saturday night, here’s what I recommend:
Look at the restaurant menu ahead of time and find high-protein options or meals. (there has to be some)
Choose what you want to eat, and do your best to log it in advance.
If it’s a big dinner, consider smaller portions or light eating earlier in the day.
If you overdo it, enjoy that meal, don’t be hard on yourself, and get back on track for the rest of the weekend.
And if it’s your birthday, a milestone or a big win, absolutely celebrate! Enjoy every moment of it.
Here’s what I want you to learn about Mindful Method:
My goal has always been to help men and women live and enjoy their lives without spending long hours in the gym or following a super-strict diet.
But that doesn’t mean no limits.
To lose fat, some boundaries need to be set. Not to punish yourself, but to protect your progress.
The weekend doesn’t have to be the enemy. It just has to stop being the place where your hard work quietly disappears.
Start incorporating the tips above, stay consistent, and keep moving forward.
What habits do you work on every weekend to make sure you don’t overdo it?
